Time Limit - Runners must maintain a 15-minute pace and be at the 5 mile mark by 9:35am. Runners arriving at the 5 mile mark after 9:35am will not be allowed to complete the entire course. Officials will direct them to turn at the 14th Street and proceed directly to the 8 mile mark and then on to the Finish Line. If you are directed to proceed directly to the Finish Line at the 5 mile mark you will not receive an official 10-mile race time or result.
Seeding - The online registration system asks for your best 10K or longer distance race time in the past two years. If you have not run a race in the past two years then you will be asked for your estimated Ten-Miler finish time. Any runner who does not complete the entire course will be disqualified.
Scoring - Must have a race number to start and run. Attach the timing chip to your shoe and cross all rubberized timing mats or you will be disqualified.
ATM Policy - Race is run rain or shine. No race day pick-up. Entry fees are non-refundable. $20 charge for not returning your timing chip.
WheelchairPolicy - Handcycles are allowed however they are not scored. Push rim wheelchairs are scored only.
Bib Policy - Swapping is Not Allowed - Any unregistered runner that competes with a registered runner’s bib number will be disqualified. If the bib number is associated with a team then that team will be disqualified from competition. ATM officials are talking a firm position on handing-off bib numbers because of liability issues and the adverse impacts on scoring, results, and awards.
USA Track & Field (USATF) Rule 144.3(b) - States that the visible possession or use of video or audio devices (CD or DVD players, mobile phones, and MP3 players, etc.) within the area of competition - is prohibited.
