Race Rules, Safety & Security

Time Limit - You must maintain a 15-minute pace and be at the 5 mile mark by 9:35am. If you arrive at the 5 mile mark after 9:35am, you will be directed to turn at 14th Street and proceed directly to the 8 mile mark and then on to the Finish Line. If you are redirected to the Finish Line at the 5 mile mark you will not receive an official 10-mile race time or result.
Seeding - The online registration system asks for your best 10K or longer distance race time in the past year. If you have not run a race in the past year then you will be asked for your estimated Army Ten-Miler finish time.
Scoring - You must be wearing your race bib to get to the start line and run on the course. Attach your timing tag to your shoe and cross all rubberized timing mats or you will be disqualified. Any runner who does not complete the entire course will be disqualified.
ATM Policy - The race will take place rain or shine. No race day pick-up. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Wheelchair Policy - Handcycles are allowed however they are not scored. Push rim wheelchairs are scored only.
Bib Policy - Swapping is Not Allowed - Any unregistered runner that competes with a registered runner’s race bib will be subject to disqualification. If the race number is associated with a team then that team will be disqualified from competition. ATM officials take a firm position on handing-off race bibs because of liability issues and the adverse impacts on scoring, results, and awards.
Audio and Video device ban - You are not allowed to carry audio and video devices on the ATM course. Safety is the number one priority for the race. This ban will be strictly enforced.

Security
There will be controlled access points and all runners and spectators must pass thru a security check point. The security policy is stated on Entry Form.
