Registation
Priority registration presented by Navy Federal Credit Union will open 1 May. To be eligible for priority registration you must have either run the ATM seven (7) times or more OR be a U.S. service member. Military must use a .mil email address when registering. We understand that DoD civilians also have a .mil email address but early registration is for U.S. service members only. We trust that everyone will honor this and abide by the ATM policy.
General registration will open 15 May.
Purchasing Prepaid Registration Codes & Creating Teams
You may buy up to eight (8) pre-paid codes when you buy your team name ONLY. You will not have any other opportunity to buy prepaid registration codes.
The team name will cost you $30. Each prepaid that you (up to eight (8) per team) will cost $55 each.
Buying a prepaid registration with a team guarantees that many runners are entered into the race and the names can be assisgned at a later date. This means that you don't have to know who your runners are when buy the prepaid registrations.
The code that is emailed to you is associated with that team. When you enter a runner using that code, the runner is part of that team. If you drop the runner from the team, the runner is still registered in the race using that code. If you need to replace a registered runner with a non-registered runner, you will need to go through the online transfer program. If the program has closed, you will not be able to swap out runners.
If the race is sold out, you can still purchase a team name but you will only be able to "draft" registered runners to the team. You will not be able to buy prepaid registrations.
Each team captain will only be able to purchase until to eight (8) teams using their email.
When you buy a team with prepaid registration codes, you can also buy upgrade shirts, pasta dinner tickets and training shirts. But the number of the additional items must match the number of prepaid registration codes.
Additional Purchases
Training Shirt: $32 (includes shipping) - Order your official shirt when you register and SAVE. The 2012 short sleeve Brooks Podium performance training shirt is available in men's and women's sizes. G&G Outfitters will ship all shirts within two weeks of your order. Special price valid with registration only.
Official Race Shirt Upgrade: $30 - Upgrade your 50/50 2012 runner shirt to a long sleeve Brooks Podium performance shirt for only $30. The shirts are available in men's and women's sizes. The upgrade shirt is available to runners only on the registration website. Shirts are non-refundable and convey with transfer entry. Shirts are NOT mailed out. You MUST pick up your shirt at the Army Ten-Miler Health & Fitness Expo.
Pasta Dinner Tickets: $29 - The pasta dinner, all-you-can-eat buffet, is Oct 20 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott hotel in Arlington, Va. Pick up your tickets at the Army Ten-Miler Health & Fitness Expo.
Team Rules
You must have at least four (4) runners on a team. You may have up to eight (8) runners. The four runners with the fastest times will be scored.
In a mixed team, at least one member of the opposite gender must finish and be scored.

Team Captains
You may be a team captain and not participating in the ATM. You may be a member of the team and the team captain. As the team captain, you ONLY have access to the team tool feature on the ATM website. Using the team tools, you will be able to send emails to your team and post your logo to customize the page.
