You can check your garments at the Clement Nedd Garment Check Zone located in the Pentagon Metro station's lower bus terminal. The area wil be open from 6:00am until 12:30pm on Sunday, October 21.

The garment check is only available to runners. No backpacks or gym bags are allowed and all garments must be placed in the clear plastic bag that will be given to you at the garment check.

Attached to your race bib is a garment check number tab. Take this tab from your race bib and put it on the clear bag. Tie the bag securely. You may also write the number on the bag using one of the permanent markers in the garment check area. The garment check is staffed by many volunteers who are ready to assist you with your bag.

All bags must be picked up by 12:30pm.

The ATM is not responsible for any items lost, broken or stolen. The ATM strongly recommends that you  not leave cell phones, wallets or any other valuables in your garment bag.

About the Clement Nedd Garment Check Zone (GCZ)

The GCZ was named after Clement Nedd who worked for the Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for over 30 years. Clement Nedd played an integral part in getting approval for ATM to use the Pentagon Lower Bus Terminal as a garment check. His professionalism and dedication allows the ATM to offer runner's a garment check.

Clement Nedd passed away on February 21, 2008. In honor of his memory the Garment Check Zone bears his name.
