GEICO Pasta Dinner

You have to eat right the night before a 10 mile race and the pasta dinner is the place to do it. The dinner is on Oct 20 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the Arlington Ballroom of the race HQ hotel, Crystal Gateway Marriott.

They Crystal Gateway Marriott is located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia. The entrance to the hotel is located at Eads & 15th Streets. There is parking at the hotel (see the concierge for pricing) and the hotel is Metro accessible off the Blue and Yellow Metro lines at the Crystal City station.

The dinner is traditionally attended by the Sergeants Major of the Army, Reserve and Guard. Over 1000 runners from around the world and members of the Missing Parts in Action Team (Wounded Warriors) also attend the all-you-can eat pasta buffet. The buffet includes pasta with three types of sauces, garlic bread, salad and more.

The entertainement will get you out of your seat and clapping your hands. And you will most definitely experience a sense of esprit de corps that will carry over to race day.
