Enjoy the Hooah Tent Zone (HTZ)

The 28th edition of the Army's annual Army Ten-Miler (ATM) is 21 Oct in Washington, DC. This 10 mile race starts and finishes at the Pentagon. Produced by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington (MDW), this traditional Army classic atracts over 30,000 military and civilian runners from around the world.hooah tents 2011

This featured post race activity features U.S. military commands from around the world that support their teams, promote their mission, and promote their "Army Spirit". Runners and spectators interact with Soldiers, experience the esprit de corps, and enjoy the festive activities that the Hooah Tents offer.

General Hooah Tent Information

The HTZ tradition started back in the early 90's when a few commands arranged for tents on race day to support their teams and show their Army spirit. Over the years, that tradition has grown to include over 80 tents.

HTZ Competition

Congratulations to the first place 2011 HTZ winners - III Corp Central Texas Ft. Hood Chaper AUSA. The Chapter was presented with the "Hank" the Hooah Bird award.
