TEAM DIVISIONS

Team Management

Here are policies and team tools to help team captains with a variety of topics, including prepaid codes, how to add and drop a team member, and other team management details.

Team Policies

All runners on the team must be eligible for the team division or the team is subject to disqualification. No exceptions. See eligibility requirements below.

All teams are final. No team changes/runner substitutions are allowed past August 24. No refunds. No bib swapping. Any unregistered runner that competes with a registered runner's race bib will be disqualified. If the unregistered race bib number is associated with a team, the whole team will be disqualified from the competition. ATM officials are taking a firm position on handing off race bib numbers due to the liability issues and the adverse impact on scoring, results and awards.

Prepaid Code FAQS

What is a prepaid code?
The prepaid code is a guaranteed individual registration attached to a team that can only be purchased when the team is created. You cannot go back and buy codes at a later date.

What are the benefits of purchasing a prepaid code?
You don't need to know the members of your team when you register a team name (teams have until August 24 to select runners). Since the race sells out quickly, the prepaid codes serve as guaranteed registrations.

How do you purchase a prepaid code?
The team captain (person who sets up the team) has the option of purchasing prepaid codes when creating a team name. There is an option on the team registration form that allows the team captain to purchase up to eight prepaid codes per team.

How do you Use a prepaid code?
On the registration form there is a place to enter the code. The team captain can enter the runner or can give the runner the code for him or her to enter. The runner is assigned to and will automatically be placed on this specific team. Note the team captain will receive the prepaid code in an email and can also find the codes when logging into the system. (link will be posted in May).

When can I use my prepaid code?
Your prepaid codes are valid from June 5 through August 24 in case you need to switch runners. If a registered runner on your team can no longer run, the runner must use the online transfer program to allow another runner on the team. Note that there is an additional charge for transferring.

Can a runner who registered using a code transfer to another runner?
You can transfer to another runner but you will not be given a refund. Note that the prepaid code is tied to the original purchase of the team and not the individual runner.

How to Drop or Add a Runner

The team captain, the individual who purchased the team, is the only person allowed to drop a runner or add a registered runner to the team.
