Race Transfers

 

Transfers Between ATM Events

Runners may transfer from In-Person to Virtual or, Virtual to In-Person ATM Events. To start the transfer, please visit https://myevents.ACTIVE.com/armytenmiler.  Please click "Change Event" and select Virtual Race. Use code GOARMY to save. 

 

Runner-to-Runner Transfers - Closed.

The Army Ten-Miler Runner-to-Runner Registration Transfer program has closed. Transfers to ATM Virtual or, vice-versa, Virtual to In-Person Race is available in your ACTIVE myEvents profile (https://myevents.ACTIVE.com/armytenmiler).

 

Runner-to-Runner Transfer Details

ATM In-Person registered runners will first need to initiate the transfer, then the recipient needs to accept the transfer and pay. Once the recipient has accepted and completed the transfer, the original registrant will be canceled and refunded. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. If a transfer fee is applied, it will be deducted automatically from the refund. 

Transfers are only available to individual runners within the In-Person race. One In-Person runner can transfer registration to another runner wishing to run the In-Person Race in Washington, DC. 

Team transfers are not possible. 

ATM will not facilitate runner transfers. All sales are final.


Steps for In-Person Runner-to-Runner Transfers:

Participant: Initiate Registration Transfer to Someone Else

  1. Log into My Events web page at http://www.myevents.active.com
  2. Click Transfer registration
  3. Enter recipient email address in Email address field
  4. Enter recipient email address in Confirm email address field

  5. Click Submit 
    • Note:
    An invitation to claim your registration has been sent to new participant. Your registration remains in your name until the new participant claims it.
    Note: After the transfer has been completed, you'll receive an email confirmation for your record
     
 

Recipient: Accept Registration

  1. The new registrant opens email notification of transfer
    • Note: Email subject is: Claim your registration for {event name} from {original participant} 
  2. Click Claim registration within the message
  3. Login by entering your email address
  4. Click Next
  5. Check the boxes before "I have read and agree to ACTIVE Network's Terms of Use" and "I have read and agree to ACTIVE Network's Privacy Policy".
  6. Click Next
  7. Complete registration form
  8. Click CONTINUE
  9. Enter payment details
    Note: If this is a new account, you will need to setup password to create this account as shows below

Notes about transfers:

 

  • Note: Registrations for someone below 18 can only be viewed and transferred by the guardian who registered them. Registrations made by someone else on your behalf (if you are an adult) can be transferred by that person or by yourself 

  • Note: If a participant transfers categories BEFORE attempting to transfer the registration to someone else, the process cannot be completed

  • Note: The original registration fee is not refunded until the new participant accepts and completes the transfer process. ACTIVE.com processing fees and/or USAT membership fees (if applicable) are not refunded.
