When is the 2023 Army Ten-Miler?
The 39th Annual Army Ten-Miler, In-Person Race will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Washington, D.C.

When does registration open?
ATM Registration opens in the Spring season of each year.

How long do I have to complete the 39th Annual Army Ten-Miler, In-Person Race?​​​
All registered runners must complete the in-person race event on the day of the event, in-person in under 2 hours and 30 minutes from the start of the last wave.  Runners are encouraged to run at a 15-minute-per-mile pace.

How will I obtain my race bib and runner packet?
In-Person registered runners must pick up their running packets from the ATM Expo. The ATM Expo will be held at the DC Armory on October 6th & 7th. The ATM Runner Packet will contain a race bib, runner shirt, bag, and the 2023-2024 ATM calendar. There is no packet pickup on race day.

How will I obtain my finisher coin?
Finisher coins will distributed at the conclusion of the in-person race event, at the ATM finish line. 

Is there an age requirement for the In-Person race?
Yes, all registered runners must be 13 years old with the consent of a legal guardian or parent, on ATM race day. 

Is there an age requirement for the Virtual race?
No, there is no age limit for the Virtual Race. All ages are permitted to register, ages 0-120.

Does the race sell out?
Yes. This event is expected to sell out. Please purchase your registration accordingly. 

How can I confirm my registration?
Each runner will receive a Receipt of Registration Confirmation after each registration has been completed to the email used during registration.  If you do not receive a receipt to your given email, please Contact ATM and our staff will assist you. 

What time does METRO open?
On Oct. 8, 2023, Metro will open at 07:00 a.m. Use the Trip Planner function at www.wmata.com to plan your trip to Pentagon City Metro Station or follow WMATA on X/Twitter @Metrorailinfo or @Metrobusinfo or @wmata. 

What happens if it rains?
The Army Ten-Miler will be held rain or shine. ATM Registration is final sale, there are no refunds.

Will there be an In-Person ATM Youth Run?
Yes. The In-Person ATM Youth Run will take place at the Pentagon on Race Day. Visit the ATM Youth page for more information. 

Will there be a Virtual ATM Youth Run?
No. There will not be a Virtual ATM Youth Run in 2023. The ATM Youth Run will be conducted in Washington, D.C. at the Pentagon following the Army Ten-Miler, In-Person race.

Are strollers permitted at the In-Person Race Day?
Strollers are not permitted on the runner course. Spectators are allowed to bring a stroller but, are subject to security check at the Pentagon. 

 

REGISTRATION DEFERRALS & CANCELLATIONS

Army Ten-Miler does not offer deferrals of registration. The only exceptions to this policy are the U.S. Military Active Duty members on official deployment orders.  

REGISTRATION REFUNDS: The race is run rain or shine. There are no refunds/deferrals. 

Please note that you will be required to agree to the ATM race waivers before you can proceed to the checkout page of the registration, pay, and complete the registration.

ATM RACE POLICIES FOR IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS 

Security Policy: In the event of any security policy change, there will be no refunds/deferrals. 

Refund Policy: I understand there are no refunds/deferrals. if I do not participate in this race and its associated events (i.e. Youth Run and others) or if this race and its associated events cannot be held because of an act of God or circumstances beyond the Army Ten-Miler Fund's control, i.e. weather delays and impact, pandemic and impact, civil unrest, government restrictions, or unforeseen commercial delays any expenses incurred or entry fees and processing fees paid by me to participate will not be refunded.” 

 

Army Ten-Miler Race adheres to DoD and CDC COVID-19 mitigation measure guidelines. Runners are encouraged to monitor DoD and CDC guidance, as ATM events will correspond to local and Federal health ordinance
